October

We've been busy this month with the usual things. I work two to three mornings a week at the YMCA with the kids, and I work out on mornings I don't work. I'm also still teaching writing at the Co-op on Tuesday afternoons while Will has his preschool class and Brighton goes to nursery down the hall. We've had some type of fall festival or activity going on almost every weekend this month, and we've tried to go to as many things as we could. This past weekend we had Monster Mash at the park near our house. The kids dressed up in their costumes, and we endured the crowds of costumed tots so Will could have a little fun. Brighton had had an ear infection the week before, so it was her first day out since being sick. It was nice to get out, but Brighton got worn out in a hurry. She is doing much better now, and she finally started taking her medicine better. (You can see the pink stains on her shirt in the picture of her while she's sick). Will had also had a little cold, and he still has coughing at night. I had a cold too, and Jon is not feeling great right now. I'm hoping everyone takes a turn for the better because of our company that will be arriving tomorrow. I'm very excited that Mom, Dad, Amanda and Baby Callie are driving down for a visit this coming week. We will celebrate Brighton's first birthday on Thursday as well as Mom's 39th birthday (wink, wink). I'm looking forward to getting out and doing some fun things in and around NOLA, and I'm really looking forward to spending time in the same room together since it only seems to happen about four times a year!!! My next post will have pictures of the three cousins (especially the two baby girls) playing together...I can't wait!!!!
