Our Beautiful B turns One!

Brighton's birthday was very special. We spent the day opening presents, shopping for toys, and playing. We went out to eat in downtown Covington, and Brighton sported her birthday dress all day. She is growing up so fast! She weighs 23 lbs and is almost 30 inches tall. She says a few words, but her favorite word is "Boo." She will point to Mama, Daddy, Brother, and Boo. She loves on her baby dolls and rolls her brother's cars across the floor. She loves to dance, and she cannot help herself when a song comes on--that little head just starts bobbing! She is also officially walking!!!! We are so blessed to have such a happy and healthy girl. I am so happy to be her Mommy!

When we weren't going out...

Much time was spent in and around the house during the visit. It was so difficult just to get up and out with differing nap schedules and eating times. I think that some of the best times were spent hanging out in comfy clothes, taking walks in the neighborhood, and cuddling with the itty bitties. Nana and Papa got to do most of this, but I got to spend some long overdue time with my neice since she was quite the night owl. Nana spent a lot of time reading to Will, and he loved all the extra attention! It was great just to be in the same room with my family again :)
